Manama
Manama is the capital and largest city of Bahrain. The city is situated on the norhern part of Bahrain Island. Manama is a modern capital with an economy based on heavy industry, finance and tourism. There is the University of Bahrain in Manama. Tourists can admire Al-Fateh Mosque, which is one of the largest mosques in the world, Museum of Pearl Diving or Bahrain National Museum.
Juffair
Juffair is situated in Manama, in an area that used to be sea before 1970. Since 1970 this area has been reclaimed whereby Bahrain's coastline was extended by two kilometers to the east. Juffair is home to numerous hotels, restaurants, flats and villas. In Juffair there is the largest mosque in Bahrain, Al Fateh Mosque, which houses the new National Library.
